When people think 'environment', most think 'energy' or 'public lands'... Rarely do we think of wildlife or biodiversity. Today is the day to pause for a second and realize that a healthy biodiversity/wildlife is a critical to our own survivability, it is the fabric of Life. Biodiversity loss is a public health concern, a food security concern, a humanity issue. Biodiversity Loss is also know as the crisis of Life (and it does not need to be).
So today, on this World Wildlife Day, let's rejoice and reflect on what we have left and refocus to make sure we work together at protecting it.
